Glide

What’s new?

With the new GLIDE, we raise the standards of the High EN-A class, combining top-level materials with design solutions normally found in higher performance categories. The reinforced leading edge employs durable premium fabrics to maintain shape and performance, even at full speed. GLIDE also features our refined negative 3D panel shaping, providing an exceptionally clean leading edge, increased stability during accelerated flight, and a beautifully smooth canopy surface.

Drawing inspiration from our high-performance development programs, we transferred advanced aerodynamic features into the EN-A+ segment—carefully adapted and optimized for pilots seeking maximum performance with full A-class safety. These include reduced-drag gallery lines, a 50-cell structure, optimized leading-edge rods, shark-nose technology, hidden mini-rib seams, 12 mm risers, and efficiency-enhanced wingtips.

How is the GLIDE designed?

GLIDE is engineered to push the limits of the High EN-A category. Its design focuses on building a wing that is easy, safe, and forgiving—yet capable of delivering glide, speed, and precision that approach the next class.

The aerodynamic profile emphasizes pitch stability, efficient lift generation, and excellent energy retention. The canopy tensioning is finely tuned to provide clear and predictable brake feedback, allowing pilots to control the wing intuitively without complexity.

The internal structure uses reinforced diagonal ribs and carefully balanced attachment points to distribute load evenly. Combined with a highly optimized line plan—using thinner gallery lines to reduce drag—GLIDE delivers remarkable performance gains while maintaining the low-stress behavior expected from an EN-A wing

Who is the GLIDE for?

GLIDE is developed for:

Talented new pilots directly after completing their training

Low-hour pilots seeking maximum safety without sacrificing performance

Ambitious recreational pilots wanting a safe but sporty wing for early cross-country flying

A-class pilots looking for a wing that handles like a higher category but stays within EN-A certification

In short, the GLIDE is ideal for anyone wanting to grow quickly and confidently in their flying without leaving the EN-A class.

How does it fly?

GLIDE shows its High EN-A character from the very first moment. Inflation is smooth, predictable, and effortless—even in light or challenging wind conditions. The color-coded line layout simplifies preparation, while thinner upper lines help minimize aerodynamic resistance during flight.

Once airborne, GLIDE delivers a remarkably comfortable and stable ride. Its precise, lively handling motivates pilots to explore thermals efficiently and begin their first cross-country journeys with confidence. The wing maintains an excellent glide across the speed range thanks to its modern profile and optimized internal structure.

Overall, GLIDE offers a sporty, refined flight feel with the safety, simplicity, and confidence that define the High EN-A category.
